The Harrisburg Pennsylvania Temple was announced on 2 April 2 2023, by President Russell M. Nelson as the third temple in the state. The temple is currently in the planning and approval phase. A groundbreaking date has not yet been announced. Plans call for a single-story temple of approximately 20, 000 square feet.
